Michael Cappello, Founder, is a business development professional with 40+ years of experience. Before founding Capri Business Development in 2012, he was a top producer in many diverse sales organizations driving multi-millions in new business. Michael has spoken around the country and internationally about business development strategy. Since Capri’s inception, his Rapid Business Development process has driven over $400 million dollars in identified proposals and closed over $55 million in new purchase orders for Capri’s clients. Michael plays drums and piano and has toured internationally for the USO as well as opened for bands such as Foreigner and Kansas. He plays chess and loves to travel.
Matthew Loftus, VP of Business Development, joined Capri in 2015, learning Capri’s process from the ground up. Matt specializes in driving new opportunities and customers for Capri and many of the company’s clients. He has a competitive, relentless mindset of pursuing prospects to generate new business for a diverse range of B2B companies including manufacturers, industrial contractors, suppliers, and technology-driven organizations. Matt also helps with adopting new technologies and platforms as well as training new Capri hires on the company’s process. He enjoys traveling, skiing, music and finance.
Karen Browne, VP of Sales Operations, joined Capri in 2017. She brings a diverse knowledge from her professional experiences. Karen has worked in corporate and educational environments as well as owning her own business. She is uniquely qualified to not only support our internal business development teams and clients, she also executes Capri’s Rapid Business Development process as well. Karen is involved in every aspect of Capri. She conducts market research analysis of top companies/corporations for lead generation, manages our client’s internal databases and is responsible for the organization of our sales team’s efforts.
Jennifer Motzko, Director of Business Development, Recruitment and Analytics, is a results-oriented sales professional with successful business development experience since 2002. Proven ability to achieve solid sales growth and effectively capitalize on new and existing market opportunities. She has successfully developed and implemented strategic plans, identified new market segments, and expanded customer bases by over 50% resulting in increased revenue. Open-minded and forward-thinking with the skill to quickly analyze needs, strategize, and execute results. Jennifer joined Capri in 2014. When she isn’t spending time with her four children, she enjoys volunteering their time with for various sporting and school events, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling on family mini vacations…leaving no stone unturned!
Roslyn Yee, Director of Business Development and Marketing, has over 25 years of marketing and sales experience within the manufacturing, media, and technology industries. She can successfully engage, nurture, and grow customer relationships with an emphasis on client satisfaction and retention. Since 2019, she has been contributing her expertise in client acquisition, new market penetration and go-to-market strategies to Capri. She is also a skilled B2B sales enablement copywriter that creates client-attracting marketing materials and communications for Capri and their clients in a range of industries.
Susan Campana Hess, Director of Business Development and Training, started her career by earning the top marketing award from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. As a marketing manager for Family Express, a chain of 52 convenience stores, Susan gained vast experience in vendor negotiations, sales strategy and P&L management. In 2008, she was hired by Lakeshore Public Television to spearhead business development efforts where she created and produced a new national TV Series, Built to Last, a first for the PBS station. She acquired outside funding for the series as well as national sponsorship, breaking all station records by generating nearly $2M in revenue. Susan joined Capri in 2013 and now focuses her efforts on our clients and training new hires on Capri’s Rapid Business Development process. In her time off, Susan raises funds for the United Way by repelling off of office buildings.
Robert Hardy, Director of Business Development, is a consultative sales professional with over 20 years of experience in a variety of complex products and services. He has developed and delivered repeatable consultative sales methodologies and processes with proven results over the long term, often on sales cycles of a year or longer. Rob consistently exceeds targets, penetrates new markets and segments and delivers increased revenue and client footprint. An innovative sales leader who can strategize and execute. In his free time, Rob enjoys coaching soccer for his children’s teams, camping and traveling.
Cindy Lou Webber, Administration and Benefits Coordinator, is a graduate of Berkeley Business School and has worked at Capri since 2012. Previously, she spent 25 years in the insurance industry specializing in the Private Client Group sector of the market. She is responsible for securing and coordinating group health benefits as well as company payroll and travel for the Capri team. Cindy Lou enjoys travel and always has a book to read. She loves the beach and taking care of her extensive gardens.
