From the desk of Michael Cappello, Founder:
My father, Joseph Cappello was an amazing musician. He sang like Sinatra and could play straight bass, piano and guitar. He adopted the professional name Joe Capri when he toured with his band as a young man.
When he and my mom settled with a family, he took a job doing commercial roofing work with Local 12 in Bridgeport, CT. I was always inspired by the fact that he could work in a terrible dirty, dangerous, 100+ degree environment during the day. Then, come home shower, shave and put on his tux, throw his bass in his pickup truck and become Joe Capri again to play shows.
Naming the company Capri Business Development is a dedication to his work ethic and balance in keeping his personal dreams alive and having fun while maintaining his responsibilities.
